Unfortunately, fueled conundrum appears to have taken over; yet do not get discouraged. Despite what it looks like God remains in full control. He has revealed this over and over to me!
This morning, I am reminded of many lessons gleaned from the Bible. One that was most pressing today is from the Book of Exodus, chapter 14 verses 1-4. As you may know, when fleeing from pharaoh, the Lord instructed Moses to turn back and stay put in a designated area until further directed. The key here is that Moses, chosen by God to lead his people from oppression and from captivity, was listening and obedient. Throughout this instruction, God declared a two-fold purpose: 1) the LIBERATION of an oppressed people held in captivity (the Israelites), and 2) a REVELATION of the Lord as the true God. This scripture further states, “After this the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord!”.
Today, in these challenging times when oppression seems to have taken over in many communities with force, be mindful that God said, “I have planned this in order to display my glory....” (v. 4). Therefore, be mindful for when this pandemic is all over, everyone will know that He is the Lord. With that, I encourage all of you to continually pray and do it united with actions. Once liberated from this pandemic, be assured God will reveal His glory, again!
