Today’s message is DO NOT GIVE UP!!! Someone out there needs to hear this. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the struggle is real. Some of you may be experiencing hardships at this time, such as struggling emotionally, financially, mentally, and physically; if so, this message is for you.
Whether you need emotional support and/or financial support, I offer some nuggets of encouragement:
· Know that God remains fully in control!
· Keep the faith and stand strong!
· Keep focused on the big picture to succeed!
· Do what is best for the safety and good health of you and your family!
· Strive for lifestyle balance!
Further, I am reminded of a well-known, poem (Don’t Quit) that has served me well throughout the years. This poem is about, and I quote: “perseverance, tenacity, determination and will-power to not to give up when the things are going wrong, and when one is seemingly swimming against the tide.” Provided below is an excerpt:
When things go wrong as
they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging
seems all uphill,
When funds are low
and debts are high,
And you want to smile
but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing
you down a bit,
Rest, if you must,
but don't you quit.
