For several months, we have all been bombarded with this word in various venues: VOTE!!! This word can and must be re-emphasized for our lives depend on it. A similar phrase that boldly resonates loud and clear is “Vote like your life depends on it”!
During these tumultuous times, let us not shackle freedom and get distracted for too much is now at stake. Both past and present generations have paid and may pay the ultimate price of your non-vote, respectively. Therefore, I encourage each of you, to go vote in the 2020 National and local elections. For not voting may lead to a failed democracy and a lost generation in the future.
In closing, be mindful that as we near Election Day, November 3rd, 2020, be prepared to experience long waiting lines and more calls to vote that are massively flooding the airwaves. More importantly, take health and safety precautions seriously due to Coronavirus concerns. Lastly, do your part to get-out-the-vote for democracy needs our help.
